Asterope’s unique approach to designing and building its products has led to what some consider “Cable Technology 2.0”

Most industries have been using archaic cable designs, materials, and manufacturing methods for decades. There are many variables in this outdated approach that promote distortion and other deficiencies in conductivity. Asterope carefully considers its conductive materials, architectural designs, build methods, and implements proprietary processes to produce wiring solutions that have far superior performance characteristics. By approaching their methods with these pragmatics, the company is currently producing better performing, safer, lighter, and more cost effective solutions that are setting new performance standards for the market.

Test data indicates that Asterope’s avionic products provide greater EME/EMI protections, increased throughput, signal integrity and reduced Bit Error Rate (BER) resulting in greater communication performance over longer distances. In addition Asterope’s unique technology is capable of providing significantly greater power distribution of higher voltage/current levels over greater distances without the typical dielectric breakdown. This means a smaller gauge wire can be used in place of a larger gauge resulting in better performance, increased weight savings, and an increased flexibility and bend radius allowing for easier installation routing in small spaces.

CORE AVIONIC PRODUCT LINES

Asterope’s core product lines include both shielded and unshielded 16, 18, 20, 22, and 24 AWG solutions featuring advanced ETFE and FEP insulation and jacketing.

These product suites allows Asterope to meet a substantial portion of the market’s core avionic needs for both conventional and experimental aircraft.
